Group History, Publications & Magazines

The Group publish a quarterly magazine,’Chevin’, usually of between 35 - 44 pages, some in full colour, which is distributed free to all members. Each issue is full of information about Group activities and the get-together weekends we organise, reports of members catches, and pages of articles and letters from members.

All available back copies of the magazine may be purchased by members at a cost of £2-50

A recent addition is Chevin on CD These cover three decades, 70’s, 80’s and the 90’s available from the Treasurer Simon Cooper. Sorry, members only at the moment.

The editor, Steve Plumb, welcomes and encourages contributions to the Group magazine from all Group members in the form of letters, articles and photographs. If you want more information or advice about writing an article, letter or report, please contact Steve.  

The Group History, which was originally put together by Terry Brindle and Fred Sykes in a loose-leaf folder, is currently being put on CD’s by the Group Historian, Duncan Kellett, and will be available to members at a modest cost.

All profits from the sale of magazines, CD’s and other Group merchandise will go towards the costs of publishing the Groups second book
